Vancouver Farm Day Camp Staff 

If you love seeing kids find joy in holding worms or discover that kale is their favorite food, if you have a favorite silly vegetable song or game, and if you think camp is the best part of summer, this might be the position for you! The Vancouver Farm Day Camp Staff will be responsible for delivering Fresh Roots Day Camp programming at our farm sites in East Vancouver. Youth Program Facilitator – Coquitlam Edition

We’re looking for SOYL youth program facilitators who will help manage the summer SOYL program at Coquitlam. As part of the SOYL program team, you’ll work with our program manager to grow and steward the Earth Spirit Healing Forest and Medicine Garden.  And you’ll mentor at least 3 youth to do the same.  Together you will grow, cook, share, process, and explore Good Food. You’ll play a key role in making this program a success, by supporting the physical work outdoors, as well as, developing program activities, assisting with logistics and communication, developing signage outdoors, growing healthy food, and cooking it. Youth Participant – Suwa’lkh Youth

Are you looking for a job this summer helping grow?  This is the job for you. You’ll be out in the Earth Spirit Healing Forest and Medicine Garden making paths, and planting indigenous plants. You’ll learn how to identify plants in the forest and work in the garden, growing food for you and the community. Click here to learn more.
