Our schoolyard farms are bustling with activity all year round! We intentionally grow what we like to call a ‘schoolyear harvest’, and ensure food is always growing on site from September – June, as well as the summertime!
And because we do so much more than just grow food, we are always happy to share our stories, innovation, and help inspire groups to dream big. We regularly host 1hr farm tours. During this tour we share the story of how the schoolyard farm came to be, how it lives and connects with the school community (and vice versa), and facilitate a Q&A and discussion period.
Tours can be focused broadly to cover all programs or a specific area that is most relevant to you. You can let us know what you are interested in we will make sure that information is covered. Sign up for a tour here.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to visit and learn about your amazing farm and adventures! You guys seriously inspired everyone (including me) to grow better and connect our own gardens to our community. The conversations I had with the seniors after were all so amazing, and they were so interested in starting their own productive gardens and making Collingwood Neighbourhood House a better place! The work you guys do is amazing, and I’m so happy to have such amazing people in my life and community!
Mulch love,
-Brendan
