Soil Type: Acidic, wet to moist organic soils, peats and mucks

Sun Exposure: Full sun to part shade

Usually found at: Peat bogs, cold damp woods, wet shores

Edibility: Yes. Brew leaves for tea or tonic (only take in small doses). Can also be chewed fresh in small doses for sore throats and upset stomach.
