There is a buzz of excitement in the fields as we get ready to build our own walk-in cooler. We’ve sourced the materials and will start construction next week. As we grow more and more crops the cooler will be stacked to the brim with tasty food. Coming up at next week’s market we’ll see a fresh crop of gorgeous head lettuce; with variety names like Vulcan, Buttercrunch and Drunken Woman you know they are going to be as fun to eat as they are to say. Our peas have reached their trellis and are climbing to the sun. Soon we’ll be tasting the true flavour of spring, snap peas!
