Fresh Roots sells our schoolyard farm-grown produce and youth-made preserves to school meal programs, restaurants, and our neighbours. Fresh Roots Markets
Join us for our weekly markets in Vancouver and Coquitlam! Each week, we have a new mix of the freshest, hyper-local produce, plus other goodies like preserves made by our SOYL youth, flowers from our farms, baked good from our bakery partners, and more! Every week there’s sure to be something new.
Vancouver Market

Vancouver Veggie Boxes and Flower CSA
CSAs are sold out for 2025! 2026 CSAs will be available for purchase this winter.
Fresh Roots Veggie Box and Flower CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) programs are a fabulous way to get the freshest, most delicious, hyper-local produce while supporting the amazing work we’re doing at Fresh Roots! When you join a CSA, you enter into a direct partnership with a local farm. Members buy a share of the farm’s harvest at the beginning of the season to contribute to the costs of seeds, tools, and other inputs. As members, you will be rewarded with delicious, fresh, and hyper-local produce and a strong sense of community.
CSA Basics
Cost: $27.50/week for Veggies ($550 for Vancouver; $275 for Coquitlam); $25/week for flowers ($200)
Dates: Coquitlam Veggie Boxes are 10 weeks, June 19-August 21. Vancouver Veggie Box CSAs are 20 weeks, from late May or early June through the week before Thanksgiving. Flower CSAs are 10 weeks, starting in early July. CSA sales begin in January, and go quickly. Join our mailing list to be the first to know when CSA sales open!
Pick-Up: Pick-up is Wednesdays, 3-7, at our Van Tech Market for Vancouver Veggies and Flowers; Thursday 3-6 for Coquitlam Veggies. (See Fresh Roots Markets below for exact locations.)
Native Plant Sales
We propagate a wide variety of native plants at our site in Coquitlam! These are available for purchase during our Millside Markets from June through August, and keep an eye on our social media for special Native Plant Sales in the spring. Availability varies.
